Since 2012, we have been fortunate to be a part of a variety of Wow Projects in Egypt.  Here are some highlights.

ART GALLERY FUNDRAISER

We purchased art supplies that were used to create t-shirts and other crafts that were then donated to a local art gallery with the proceeds from the sales of these crafts going to Hospital 57357.

Teen survivor camp, Ein sukhna - Egypt

Over 30 teen cancer survivors along with social workers from Hospital 57357 in Egypt participated in a three day camp at a red sea resort in Ein Sukhna.  The camp provides a safe environment for the teens to share their experiences and find emotional support.  

Child cancer clinic, rural egypt - Fakkous

In rural areas of Egypt, access to clean and modern treatment centers is difficult for many.  The Sereen Foundation worked with Dr. Sherif Omar and the Association of Friends of the National Cancer Institute (ANCI) in Egypt to supply medical equipment, furniture and a playground for a new child cancer clinic in Fakkous, Sharqiya Province Egypt.

Art supplies and continuing education

Working closely with our partner Hospital 57357 in Cairo, the Sereen Foundation has delivered art/school supplies, textbooks and resources in support of a continuing education program that enables children to continue their schooling while being admitted in the hospital for treatment.
